Job summary

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an e-Rostering Lead (Band 7) to manage the Trust-wide Allocate e-Rostering rollout across clinical and non-clinical services, ensuring safe staffing, data quality and benefits realisation in line with Trust policy.

The post holder will deliver strong project management, workforce systems expertise and change management, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and embed consistent, efficient rostering processes.

Qualifications

• Strong project management experience in workforce systems.
• Expertise with rostering systems Allocate HealthRoster/Optima.
• Proven change management capability.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience with NHS workforce policy and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management of the Trust-wide Allocate e-Rostering rollout, including planning, mobilisation, stakeholder engagement, risk/issue management, dependencies, milestones, reporting and benefits realisation.
• Provide specialist system knowledge and leadership for Allocate HealthRoster/Optima, ensuring rosters are built, maintained, approved and reported in line with policy and safety requirements.
• Lead organisational change across services, challenging rostering practices and embedding consistent, efficient processes.
• Oversee compliance with national standards and develop action plans to improve roster maturity, utilisation and governance reporting.
