Job Overview

The E – Learning Community Manager is responsible for cultivating and managing a dynamic online learning environment. This role ensures a high-quality learner experience through active community engagement, content curation, moderation, and alignment with educational goals. Working closely with learning design teams, this role supports both community growth and effective learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

Community Building and Engagement

  • Actively engage with learners through forums, social platforms, and messaging tools.
  • Initiate discussions and foster knowledge-sharing among participants.
  • Organize virtual events (Q&A sessions, workshops, etc.) to deepen engagement.
  • Encourage peer-to-peer collaboration and support.
  • Working closely with Internal and External partners

Content Creation and Management

  • Create and curate engaging learning materials (articles, videos, posts, case studies).
  • Maintain and update the online learning platform (LMS).
  • Respond to learner feedback to improve content quality and usability.

Community Moderation

  • Uphold and enforce community guidelines.
  • Monitor discussions to maintain a respectful, constructive environment.
  • Offer support and escalate any technical or behavioural issues as needed.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Track and analyse metrics (engagement, retention, learner satisfaction).
  • Identify patterns or improvement areas in community interaction.
  • Produce insights and reports for learning and leadership teams.

Collaboration and Coordination

  • Align community engagement with the course curriculum and academy goals.
  • Coordinate with learning designers and subject matter experts.
  • Maintain communication with internal teams and learners to ensure seamless operations.
  • Strong communication and digital interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in online community management or educational facilitation.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital collaboration tools.
  • Competency in content creation, editing, and publishing (video, blog, etc.).
  • Analytical mindset with experience using engagement metrics to inform strategy.
