Job summary

Nightingale House Hospice is seeking an Ecommerce Sales Manager for the Regent Street Store in Wrexham. The role is full-time (37.5 hours) with some weekend work and a salary of £30,000 per annum.

You will lead our online shop operations to maximise income from donated items, manage multiple platforms (including eBay) and maintain high customer service standards. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience selling via ecommerce across multiple channels, with eBay mandatory.
• Clear written and verbal communication, quick and polite responses.
• Ability to take clear product photos to spec.
• Ability to securely pack items for delivery.
• Self-organisation and handover to volunteers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maximise monetary returns from donated items sold online.
• Meet annual sales targets set by Head of Retail while managing expenses.
• Grow online sales across all platforms.
• Ensure excellent customer service.

Ecommerce Sales Manager Regent Street Store - Wrexham

Full time - 37.5 hours per week including some weekend working

Salary: £30,000 per annum

About us

Nightingale House Hospice provides specialist palliative care services, completely free-of-charge, to patients and their families across a wide area stretching from Wrexham, Flintshire, and East Denbighshire to Barmouth and the border towns including Oswestry and Whitchurch. Nightingale House shops rely on the generosity of the public to donate goods for us to sell across our shops, but we recognise that some of the items donated can get a higher sale price if sold online.

The role

Having an established Ecommerce department, we are looking for an experienced online seller to join our retail team who will help us further maximise income for the Hospice.

What skills, experience or personal qualities will I need?

• Experience of selling via eCommerce utilising different selling channels - eBay is a must but Etsy, Depop, Vinted, Facebook Marketplace etc are desirable alongside any experience with live selling through Whatnot, Tik Tok or eBay Live


• Be able to communicate politely verbally and clearly in writing, ensuring that any queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently.


• Be able to take clear photographs to agreed specification.


• Be able to pack items securely so that they can be delivered without any damage.


• Be able to work in a logical and consistent way, managing one's own time and be able to provide a clear handover to volunteers and other eCommerce paid staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the hospice achieves the best monetary return on donated items sold through eCommerce


• Achieve annual sales target set by the Head of Retail whilst carefully managing expenditure


• Increase organisational sales by identifying, developing, and managing all online sales platforms


• Ensure that all customers experience an excellent standard of customer service
