Job summary

OC Talent Advisory & Acquisition seeks an Operations Manager to optimise UK operations across merchandise and e-commerce. You will improve processes from stock to delivery, manage procurement, and maintain supplier performance while working with the CFO on US/EU aspects.

With 3–5 years in operations, you’ll drive cost efficiency, implement new systems, and monitor KPI-driven results across platforms such as Shopify, ensuring compliance with UK import rules and consumer law for online sales.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience running e-commerce operations and procurement.
• Experience with Shopify or similar platforms and stock management.
• Understanding of UK import procedures and consumer law for online sales.

Responsibilities

• Review UK operations from order to delivery, identify bottlenecks and lead improvements.
• Set up KPIs and report on performance; document standard ways of working.
• Manage day-to-day e-commerce operations, stock, and order flows on Shopify.
• Procurement and supplier management, sourcing, negotiating, and PO tracking.
• Forecast demand, manage import processes, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support US and EU operations, cross-border shipping and local fulfilment.
• Manage operations budget and produce regular leadership reports.
