Job summary

Our client is seeking a hands-on generalist to join the team at ground level and help shape operations from day one. The role covers back-office tasks and e-commerce support in a growing startup environment in Greater London.

Main duties include managing Shopify and Amazon Seller Central workflows, updating product listings, coordinating content, handling customer enquiries, and supporting UK launch activities with a proactive, detail-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience with Shopify and e-commerce operations, including product updates and store administration.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central.
• Proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent English communication; German or French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operational tasks across back-office and e-commerce functions.
• Assist with administrative processes, coordination, and basic workflows.
• Contribute to early-stage e-commerce activities (social media, website updates, content coordination).
• Work with leadership to support the UK launch and ongoing operations.
• Identify process improvements and adapt to changing priorities.

We are looking for a hands‑on generalist who can support a wide range of daily tasks across back‑office operations and e‑commerce activities.

In an early‑stage environment, no two days are the same.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic setting, enjoys problem‑solving, and is comfortable taking initiative.

Start Date: October 2026 onwards

What You Will Do

• Support day‑to‑day operational tasks across back‑office and e‑commerce functions
• Assist with administrative processes, coordination, and basic operational workflows
• Contribute to early‑stage e‑commerce activities (social media, website updates, content coordination)
• Work closely with leadership to support the UK launch and ongoing operations
• Adapt to changing priorities and proactively identify ways to improve processes
• Manage day‑to‑day operations on Amazon Seller Central and Shopify, including product listings, content updates, and marketplace performance monitoring
• Handle customer enquiries, order issues, and returns across Amazon and the D2C website

Who We're Looking For

• Experience with Shopify and e‑commerce operations, including website updates, product management, and online store administration
• Hands‑on experience with Amazon Seller Central and/or Shopify
• A proactive, adaptable self‑starter who enjoys variety in their work
• Someone comfortable rolling up their sleeves and trying new things
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Excel
• Comfortable with detailed, repetitive tasks as part of daily operations
• Excellent communication skills in English
• German or French is a plus
