Job summary

Totum Partners is recruiting an E-Billing Specialist in Birmingham to ensure accurate and timely electronic invoice submissions across client platforms, meeting deadlines and adhering to billing guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have e-billing experience, be familiar with high-volume billing, prefer professional services (law firm) exposure, and know Aderant or similar systems, plus strong Excel and IT skills, attention to detail, and clear communication with partners and Credit Control.

Qualifications

• Previous e-billing experience.
• High-volume billing experience.
• Professional services experience, ideally within a law firm.
• Experience using Aderant or a similar practice management system.
• Knowledge of multiple e-billing platforms.
• Strong Excel and IT skills.
• Excellent attention to detail; strong communication and organisational skills.
• Multi-currency billing experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Totum Partners is working with a leading international law firm to recruit an E-Billing Specialist based in Birmingham. This role will be responsible for the accurate and timely submission of electronic invoices through a range of client e-billing platforms, ensuring compliance with client requirements and internal billing processes.

The ideal E-Billing Specialist will be responsible for:

• Processing and uploading invoices through various e-billing platforms
• Ensuring invoices are submitted within client deadlines
• Managing invoice rejections, short payments and billing queries
• Maintaining billing data within e-billing systems
• Reconciling billing information between Aderant and client portals
• Liaising with partners, fee earners and Credit Control teams
• Supporting reporting, accruals and budget updates
• Ensuring compliance with client billing guidelines and vendor requirements
