Job summary

King Lifting in Bristol (Avonmouth) is seeking a Workshop Co-ordinator to support our workshop team with administration and coordination duties. You will raise POs, procure parts, manage stock and ensure jobs are closed in the WIP system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of coordination/administration experience in a similar environment.
• Good verbal and written English.
• Advanced IT skills and full competency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with attention to detail.
• Motivated and flexible with the ability to thrive under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Raise and send purchase orders (PO).
• Procure and order parts as required.
• Stock checks and stock management.
• Manage the WIP report to ensure jobs are closed when completed.
• Process and authorise invoices.
• Update certification records.
• Coordinate inspections.
• Allocate jobs to fitters.
• Liaise with external contractors and suppliers.
• Assist with facilities management and subcontractors for building repairs, electrical testing, and fire extinguisher testing.
