Cedars Park Primary School in Stowmarket, Suffolk, is seeking a Teaching and Breakfast Club Assistant to support pupils and learning. The role combines Teaching Assistant duties (TA) and Breakfast Club Assistant duties (BCA) with a total of 30 hours per week over 39 weeks per year.

The post is permanent, starting December 2026, with applications welcomed for the TA portion as well. Salary details are provided below and DBS checks are required for successful applicants.

• implement school policies including safeguarding, behaviour, teaching and learning
• display excellent communication skills and work well as part of a team
• liaise with teachers regarding pupil progress and support needs
• plan to have a positive impact on learning
• inspire, motivate, support and challenge pupils to promote inclusion
• establish rapport and act as a role model for pupils with high expectations and wellbeing
• contribute to planning and assessment for pupils
• potential involvement within nurture provision
