Job summary

St Georges CofE (Aided) Primary School is seeking a Breakfast Club Assistant to support wrap-around care, supervise pupils aged 4–11, and help run safe, engaging activities before the school day.

This 7.5 hour per week, term-time role (38 weeks) offers a friendly team, safeguarding focus, and the opportunity to make a positive difference in children's mornings. The school welcomes visits to discuss the role.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting (preferred).
• Caring, patient and positive attitude with good organisation.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and support safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the wrap around care provision.
• Provide direct supervision and care for children aged 4 to 11.
• Assist in planning, organising, and delivering activities.
• Promote safety, welfare and safeguarding at all times.
• Communicate with parents, carers and school staff.
• Assist with snacks and maintain a welcoming environment.
