Job summary

St Matthias CE Primary School in Malvern is seeking a Teaching Assistant to work across Early Years to KS2 with our dedicated staff to support learners, including those with additional needs. The role stresses safeguarding, teamwork and a commitment to Christian values within a caring school community.

Hours: 27.5 per week, term-time only, fixed-term 1 year. Grade TA2, Points 5-6 (£25,583 - £25,989 p.a.) pro-rata to £16,263 - £16,890 p.a. Closes 17 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children across the primary age range and knowledge of Special Educational Needs is essential.
• The post may be initially in the Early Years; however skills across the Primary age range would be welcomed.
• Applicants should state any particular areas of strength or expertise they may bring to the school.
