Job summary

Hayley Group's Kent branch is hiring a Stores Assistant to keep warehouse operations running smoothly and support engineering customers across the region. This varied role covers goods in/out, picking, packing, stock checks, occasional deliveries to local customers and replenishing vending machines at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, warehouse or goods in/out required.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and putting away stock
• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders
• Maintaining accurate stock levels and stock takes
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
• Occasional deliveries to local customers
• Visiting customer sites to replenish vending machines
• Building relationships with customers and delivering excellent service
• Supporting the wider branch team with day-to-day operations
