Job summary

HR GO Recruitment invites applications for a Stores Person to support a busy production team near Ashford. The role focuses on goods in/out, stock handling, and delivering products using a company van. A full UK driving licence and reliable transport are essential.

You will maintain stock records, ensure accurate deliveries, and uphold safety and customer service standards during visits to client sites.

Qualifications

Proven experience in stores/warehouse with goods in/goods out responsibilities.
Full UK driving licence with a clean record and ability to deliver using a company van.
Good attention to detail and numeracy for stock checks.
Physically fit to lift and move stock safely.
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or in a team.
Basic IT skills for updating stock records and delivery paperwork.
Strong customer service and professional manner when visiting customer sites.

Responsibilities

Receive, check and record incoming deliveries (goods in) accurately.
Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch and perform goods out checks.
Load and deliver products to customers using a company van.
Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock counts.
Keep the stores area clean, organised and safe; follow safety procedures.
Assist with basic vehicle checks and report van issues.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries with signatures and records.
