Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant in Sheffield starting September 2026. You will support students academically, emotionally, and behaviorally across Key Stages 3 and 4 within an inclusive secondary school.

The role includes working closely with teaching staff and providing 1:1 intervention support, monitoring student progress, and creating a positive learning environment. Ideal candidates will have experience with young people and be committed to fostering student development.

Qualifications

• Experience in school, tutoring, coaching, youth work, or mentoring.
• Ability to support SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs.
• Commitment to helping students of varying abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support students in lessons across various subjects.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group intervention support.
• Monitor and record student progress.
• Assist with preparation of learning resources.
