Job summary

Vision for Education are recruiting a dedicated PE Teacher to join a secondary school near Goole after October Half Term 2026. You will teach PE to KS3/KS4 and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning culture.

The role starts as a supply position with a view to a permanent contract directly with the school. Early Career Teachers are welcome to apply, with strong support from Vision for Education.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience delivering PE in a secondary setting.
• Confident teaching PE to KS3 and KS4.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive and differentiated practical and theoretical lessons.
• Inspire students to develop sporting skills, fitness and healthy lifestyles.
• Encourage teamwork, resilience, sportsmanship and positive participation.
• Create a safe, positive and well-managed learning environment.
• Assess, monitor and support student progress.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement and engagement.
