Protocol Education is seeking confident Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across North Leeds. Immediate roles available in LS17 with flexible full-time or part-time options. You will supervise classes, maintain learning momentum, and help students stay engaged when teachers are absent.

Ideal candidates include graduates, sports coaches, youth workers, or those seeking teacher training. Training and safeguarding checks are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people, in schools, coaching, tutoring, youth work or similar.
• Confident communication and the ability to lead a classroom.
• A calm, adaptable, and proactive attitude.
• A genuine interest in supporting students and education.
• Graduates and aspiring teachers are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Supervising classes across a range of subjects using pre-set work provided by teaching staff.
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged in learning.
• Supporting students to complete tasks and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Building strong relationships with students and school staff.
• Gaining hands-on classroom experience within supportive secondary schools.
