Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking Cover Supervisors to support a broad network of secondary schools across South Yorkshire and surrounding areas. The role involves supervising classes in the absence of teachers, ensuring engagement with the set work and adherence to each school's policies.

We welcome graduates, experienced Cover Supervisors, and those with youth-facing experience, offering flexible day-to-day and longer-term opportunities with competitive pay and ongoing safeguarding training.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar role.
• UK-recognised degree required.
• Experience with young people through coaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, or similar.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to travel to schools across South Yorkshire and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-set lesson materials.
• Supervise classes across secondary subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff after lessons.
• No lesson planning or marking required.
