Job summary

Holroyd Howe is seeking a confident Hospitality Manager to support day-to-day catering and events at a prestigious private school. You will work closely with the Director of Catering to deliver exceptional food quality, service, and team development in a hands-on, customer-focused role.

You will lead operational delivery, oversee staff, manage stock and supplier relations, and ensure adherence to health and safety standards. A passion for food and education environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or assistant management experience in catering/hospitality.
• Food-led individual with understanding of kitchen operations and customer service.
• Experience training and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day catering operations with high-quality service.
• Lead by example to maintain food standards and customer experience.
• Motivate and supervise catering teams to perform with pride.
• Manage stock, ordering, and supplier relations within budget.
• Uphold food safety, hygiene, and policy compliance.
• Plan and execute hospitality events and term-time functions.
• Act as the General Manager in absence, handling operations and client comms.
• Enforce allergen controls across services.
