Job summary

Welcome Break is seeking an Assistant Manager for its KFC site to lead daily operations and deliver a warm, high‑quality guest experience. You will support the Store Manager across service, safety and people, coaching on shift and driving excellent performance.

You’ll help manage stock and routines, maintain standards, and grow into a Store Manager role through structured training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, or Assistant Manager in busy retail or hospitality.
• Proven ability to deliver great customer service and welcoming experiences.
• Ability to lead from the front, coach others, and develop the team on shift.
• Hands-on approach to managing priorities, organization, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager across service, safety, people and commercial performance.
• Coach the team on shift, ensuring high standards and timely delivery.
• Help to manage stock, stock routines, and daily operations.
• Keep the unit clean, well-organised and ready for busy periods; support progression to Store Manager.
