Job summary

Welcome Break is seeking an Assistant Manager for its KFC site near Huddersfield. You’ll help lead the team day to day, maintain high standards, and ensure every customer enjoys a warm welcome and great experience.

You’ll support the Store Manager across service, safety, people and performance, coach on shift, manage stock and routines, and drive strong sales while growing into a Store Manager role through training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, or Assistant Manager in busy retail, hospitality, or customer service.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and create a welcoming experience.
• Lead from the front—motivate, coach and develop others on shift.
• Manage priorities, stay organised, and keep the team focused during busy periods.
• Understand standards, compliance and delivering strong sales performance.
• Be ambitious and pursue a clear management progression path.
