Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor for a Hereford-based law firm. You will manage residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, transfers and remortgages, while building strong client relationships and meeting deadlines.

The role requires a Law Degree with conveyancing qualifications, a Current Practising Certificate, and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a fast-paced office environment.

Qualifications

• CILEX / CLC required or equivalent conveyancing qualification.
• Current Practising Certificate.
• Law Degree.
• Conveyancing qualifications and relevant training.
• Minimum 1 year of conveyancing experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters including sales, purchases, transfers and remortgages across freehold and leasehold properties.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, solicitors, agents and stakeholders with clear professional communication.
• Progress files proactively, ensuring compliance and accurate client records.
• Prepare and review contracts, raise enquiries, submit searches, and draft title, mortgage, and search reports.
• Act for mortgage lenders and assist with exchanges of contracts and transfer deeds.
• Collaborate with the Conveyancing team while managing your own workload and meeting deadlines.
• Maintain accurate case management records and progress matters to completion.
