Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join a busy Residential Property team in Gloucester, Gloucestershire. The role involves managing a varied caseload of freehold/leasehold matters, including new build and Help to Buy, with a focus on client care and commercial acumen.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years' PQE in residential conveyancing, strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines, while using case

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' PQE or equivalent residential conveyancing experience.
• Experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Strong knowledge of freehold and leasehold transactions.
• Experience handling new build, Help to Buy and shared ownership matters.
• Experience with lease extensions, deeds of variation, equity release or development set-up work would be advantageous.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of residential property matters.
• Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Managing new build and Help to Buy transactions.
• Advising on shared ownership matters.
• Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, developers and referral partners.
• Maintaining regular client communication and updates throughout transactions.
• Ensuring files are maintained accurately and in line with regulatory requirements.
• Meeting transaction deadlines and contributing to departmental objectives.
• Participating in networking and business development activities.
• Achieving agreed billing and performance targets.
