Job summary

Restore plc is recruiting for a Recycling and Production Operative in South Kirkby. You will support safe, efficient warehouse and production activities, including loading/unloading vehicles, material segregation, and operation of approved machinery. Regular manual handling is required.

The role is Monday to Friday, 45 hours weekly, permanent contract. You will perform daily checks, maintain records, and ensure safety and housekeeping standards are met.

Qualifications

• Health & Safety awareness within an operational environment.
• Ability to follow procedures and safe systems of work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable and flexible in a busy operation.
• Ability to accurately complete basic operational records.

Responsibilities

• Operate shredding, baling and other production machinery safely and only where trained and authorised to do so.
• Complete daily checks on machinery and equipment and report defects.
• Safely load, unload, sort and process confidential materials per procedures.
• Operate FLTs, telehandlers and other material-handling equipment where trained and authorised.
• Ensure materials are segregated, stored and processed according to requirements.
• Follow safe systems of work and site Health & Safety requirements.
• Report machinery defects or safety concerns to site management.
• Maintain clean and safe working areas and records.
• Complete operational documentation within required timescales.
