Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. You will work with experienced educators to deliver engaging lessons and provide individual and small group support, helping every child reach their potential.

Ideal candidates hold a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning and have experience in schools. A DBS check is required, and there are opportunities for long-term roles and CPD via Milk Academy.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or a relevant childcare qualification.
• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
• Confident supporting learning across the primary curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, adaptable and committed to children's development.
• DBS check on Update Service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classrooms.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
• Provide individual and small group support to pupils.
• Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils with varying abilities and learning needs.
• Encourage positive behavior and classroom engagement.
• Prepare learning resources and assist with classroom organisation.
• Collaborate with staff to monitor pupil progress.
