Job summary

Milk Education are recruiting Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support a range of welcoming Primary Schools. You will work with pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, helping them achieve their academic and personal potential within a positive, inclusive environment.

Join a friendly team with ongoing support from a dedicated consultant, flexible working opportunities, and access to CPD through Milk Academy. Long-term and permanent placements across diverse settings offer valuable classroom experience.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or relevant childcare qualification.
• Experience working with children in a school, childcare or educational setting.
• Confident supporting learning across the primary curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, adaptable and passionate about supporting children’s development.
• Hold, or be willing to apply for, an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Provide individual and small group support to pupils.
• Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities.
• Encourage positive behaviour and classroom engagement.
• Prepare learning resources and assist with classroom organisation.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support pupil progress.
