Job summary

Coppice Primary, part of Focus-Trust, invites applications for an enthusiastic SENDCo to drive high-quality SEND provision across our school from nursery to Y6. The Meadow class will form part of this role, requiring close collaboration with staff, parents and external agencies.

You will manage EHCPs, apply the graduated approach, monitor provision and deliver staff training, while benefiting from a flexible 0.8 FTE arrangement and supportive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead SEND provision across the whole school (nursery to Y6), including the Meadow class, working with staff, parents and external agencies.
• Manage EHCPs, implement the graduated approach, monitor provision and deliver staff training.
• As a non-class based SENDCo, focus on leading high-quality SEND provision, supporting pupils, families and staff without timetabled teaching duties.
