Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment Ltd in Leeds is looking for Teaching Learning Support Classroom Assistants to support primary schools across Leeds. You will work under the guidance of the class teacher, helping with phonics, reading, and classroom routines, and supporting pupils with SEND.

Qualifications

• Experience as a teaching assistant or related role is beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children.
• Patience, reliability and ability to adapt to different schools and classes.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher with daily activities.
• Work 1:1 with pupils or in small groups as needed.
• Assist with phonics and reading sessions.
• Help with classroom routines and behaviour management.
• Support pupils with SEND and inclusive learning needs.
