Job summary

Colmore Education is recruiting for a QTS PE Teacher to join a mainstream secondary school in Wolverhampton. You will deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 PE lessons, covering practical and theoretical topics while differentiating for ability levels and maintaining high behaviour standards.

The role requires QTS with experience in a secondary setting, a passion for sport, and the ability to motivate students and contribute to the school’s wider PE programme.

Qualifications

• QTS and relevant teaching experience.
• Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 PE.
• Previous experience teaching PE within a secondary school.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• The ability to motivate and engage students.
• A passion for sport and physical education.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 PE lessons.
• Teach a range of practical and theoretical PE topics.
• Differentiate lessons for varying abilities.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and participation.
• Build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Assess and monitor student progress.
