Job summary

Education Personnel are partnering with a progressive secondary school in Nottingham to recruit a PE Teacher. The role starts immediately or in January 2027 and requires QTS, with teaching across KS3/KS4 and possibly KS5 for the right candidate.

We offer day-to-day supply, long-term assignments, and permanent positions. A flexible full/part-time contract is available, with a competitive pay rate of £130-£230 per day depending on experience and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience: minimum 6 months teaching in a UK secondary school
• Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
• Collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to school life

Responsibilities

• Deliver the KS3 & KS4 PE curriculum, with KS5 teaching available if experienced in Nottingham
• Plan, prepare, and assess PE lessons in line with department policy
• Monitor student progress and implement appropriate interventions
• Lead extra-curricular sports clubs and school fixtures
• Attend staff meetings, CPD, and parents' evenings as required
