Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is recruiting a qualified PE Teacher with QTS to support a range of secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent. The role offers flexible supply work across daily, short-term, and longer-term placements, with focus on engaging PE lessons and inclusive practice.

The position requires delivering KS3-4 PE, planning and assessment, and contributing to wider school life while adapting to different school environments and facilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• A relevant PE or Physical Education teaching qualification is required.
• Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Teach a range of sports in line with the school curriculum.
• Encourage participation and positive attitudes towards physical activity.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Manage classroom and sporting behaviour in line with school policies.
• Differentiate lessons to meet varying abilities.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Support student development of physical skills and knowledge.
• Build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Adapt to different school environments and facilities.
• Contribute to wider school life, including extracurricular activities.
