Job summary

Colmore Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking an energetic PE teacher to plan and deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 lessons at Mainstream Secondary School in Wolverhampton.

Immediate start with day-to-day and long-term opportunities; you will differentiate lessons, manage behaviour and assess progress, collaborating with colleagues to support student achievement.

QTS and experience teaching PE in secondary required; enhanced DBS and compliance support available through Colmore.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching PE at KS3/KS4.
• Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 PE.
• Experience teaching PE in a secondary school.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging KS3/KS4 PE lessons.
• Teach a range of practical and theoretical PE topics.
• Differentiate lessons for varying abilities.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and participation.
• Build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Assess and monitor student progress.
• Contribute to wider PE and extracurricular programme.
