Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with a Salford-based secondary school to recruit a dedicated PE Teacher for a full-time, long-term role starting in October. You will deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, both practically and theoretically, while maintaining excellent classroom standards.

The ideal candidate holds QTS with a PE specialism, with a proven track record in PE curriculum delivery, and a positive, adaptable teaching approach to inspire students.

Qualifications

• QTS with PE specialism required (ECTs welcomed).
• Experience delivering PE to KS3 and KS4.
• Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Positive and adaptable approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach PE across KS3/KS4 and deliver engaging PE lessons.
• Support students to develop skills, participation and understanding of physical education.
