Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is assisting a well-regarded secondary school in Watford to recruit a Music Teacher for a January start. You will teach KS3 and KS4, delivering a broad curriculum that covers performance, composition, music technology and diverse musical traditions.

You will join a friendly department that values creativity, practical learning and CPD. The role offers opportunities to contribute to concerts and enrichment activities, with strong classroom support for teachers and ECTs alike.

Qualifications

• Music Teacher with experience or the ability to teach KS3 and KS4.
• Strong musical knowledge, including performance, composition and theory.
• Ability to motivate students and deliver engaging practical lessons.
• Formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE.
• Experienced teachers and ECTs are welcome to apply.
• Overseas teachers with recognised teaching qualifications considered.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
