Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a passionate Music Teacher for a January start at a Bedford secondary school. You will teach across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons and nurturing students' musical creativity.

The role involves practical music making, theory, composition and GCSE preparation where applicable; a degree in Music and PGCE with QTS are required. Applications from ECTs and overseas-qualified teachers are welcome.

Qualifications

• Degree in Music, Music Education or related subject.
• Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE with QTS or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of music theory, composition, performance and listening skills.
• Ability to plan engaging practical and theoretical lessons.
• Experience supporting students with different levels of musical ability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4.
