Job summary

Tradewind Education in Doncaster is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher for a full-time, short-term contract at a local secondary school, starting ASAP. This is a great opportunity to support student learning and progress in mathematics.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS or an equivalent qualification, have experience teaching Maths in a secondary setting, and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons with strong classroom management and safeguarding practice.

Qualifications

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school.
Strong knowledge of the maths curriculum and differentiated lesson planning.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the school's curriculum.
Teach engaging, well-structured lessons for a range of abilities.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Maintain high expectations of behaviour, achievement and student engagement.
Differentiate lessons and resources to support individual learning needs.
Collaborate with the Maths department and wider staff.
Record student progress and attainment accurately.
Follow safeguarding, behaviour and health & safety policies.
