Job summary

Randstad Education in Leeds is seeking a Teacher of Humanities for a full-time, temporary position starting this September. You will deliver high-quality History, Geography and RS lessons within a knowledge-rich curriculum and establish robust classroom routines to maximise learning.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.
• A valid Enhanced DBS clearance registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
• A degree or strong academic background in History, Geography, or a related Humanities discipline.
• Valid legal entitlement to work full-time in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Humanities lessons across History, Geography, and RS.
• Maintain high expectations and maximise learning time.
• Embed daily learning habits and routines.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support progress.
• Support co-curricular electives and enrichment sessions.
• Track pupil progress using data-driven assessments.
• Collaborate with leadership to align student progress.
• Foster positive relationships with families and the wider community.
• Model the values of hard work, trust and fairness.
• Participate in staff practice and training sessions to improve teaching.
