Job summary

Justteachers are recruiting a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Leeds from September 2026, delivering History, Geography and/or Religious Studies to KS3 and KS4. Qualifications

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level (KS3/KS4).
Strong subject knowledge in History, Geography, and/or Religious Studies.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
Contribute to the development of the Humanities curriculum.
Support students in achieving their academic targets and personal development goals.
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and ongoing professional development.
