Job summary

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch in Wakefield is seeking a Humanities Teacher to start ASAP. You will deliver engaging Humanities lessons and foster a classroom where pupils participate and develop understanding.

The ideal candidate holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), has strong Humanities knowledge, and can manage a class with differentiation. An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to plan effective Humanities lessons and adapt for different abilities.
• Strong Classroom management and behaviour leadership skills.
• Excellent communication with students, parents and staff.
• Experience delivering engaging lessons that promote student progress.
• Ability to assess and provide constructive feedback to support growth.
• Wamiliarity with safeguarding and DBS requirements.
