Job summary

Academics is actively recruiting Humanities Teachers to work on a long-term supply basis across Bradford, with flexible full-time or part-time options.

You will plan and deliver Humanities lessons (History, Geography, Religious Education) in secondary schools, supporting students to achieve strong outcomes and maintaining a positive, well-managed learning environment. DBS update service preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Humanities in secondary schools
• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Humanities lessons
• Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable)
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment
• Inspire students' interest in Humanities subjects
• Work collaboratively with departmental and school staff
