Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in the Vale of Glamorgan. The role offers full-time and supply opportunities, engaging across Foundation Phase to KS2, with intervention groups and ALN support.

You will work with teachers to raise attainment and adapt to varied year groups in multiple schools. Ideal candidates hold HLTA status or have significant classroom experience, with strong communication and organisational skills, and

Responsibilities

• Delivering pre-planned lessons during teacher release time.
• Supporting pupils across Foundation Phase, KS1 and KS2.
• Leading intervention groups in literacy and numeracy.
• Supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs.
• Working alongside teachers to raise pupil attainment.
• Helping maintain a positive learning environment.
