Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an Early Years Practitioner (EYFS) for a full-time, long-term position at an established mainstream Primary School in Islington. You will work across Nursery and Reception (ages 2-4), supporting phonics, early reading and communication.

You should hold Level 3 qualification or higher and have a strong EYFS understanding. This role offers a supportive team, term-time hours, and a competitive daily rate of £95-£110 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or higher such as CACHE or Health and Social Care.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and curriculum.
• Recent EYFS experience essential in Nursery/Reception.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work across Nursery and Reception (2-4 years) supporting phonics, early reading and writing.
• Support children with mild SEN and monitor development across early years.
• Deliver EYFS activities and ensure nurturing, inclusive learning environments.
• Collaborate with teachers and the Early Years team to provide consistent support.
• Contribute to planning, assessment and CPD opportunities.
