Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Islington Borough on a long-term temporary basis.

This role offers a consistent two-day-per-week schedule, working every Thursday and Friday, with duties including supporting EYFS teaching, delivering engaging activities, promoting children's development, and upholding safeguarding standards within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years required.
• Previous Nursery or EYFS experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning within the EYFS.
• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Support children's social, emotional and educational development.
• Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
• Encourage communication, confidence and independence.
• Support observations and assessments of children's progress.
• Work closely with teachers and the wider Early Years team.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Early Years Practitioner looking for a consistent two-day-per-week role, working every Thursday and Friday within a supportive and collaborative primary school environment.

• Hours: Thursdays & Fridays
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Islington Borough
• Pay: £95-£110 per day PAYE
• Contract: Long-Term Temporary

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting teaching and learning within the EYFS
• Delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Supporting children's social, emotional and educational development
• Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
• Encouraging communication, confidence and independence
• Supporting observations and assessments of children's progress
• Working closely with teachers and the wider Early Years team
• Building positive relationships with children and families
• Following safeguarding and health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For:

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
• Previous Nursery or EYFS experience
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework
