Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an Early Years Practitioner (EYFS) for a full-time, long-term position at an established mainstream Primary School in Islington. You will work across Nursery and Reception (ages 2-4), supporting phonics, early reading and communication.

You should hold Level 3 qualification or higher and have a strong EYFS understanding. This role offers a supportive team, term-time hours, and a competitive daily rate of £95-£110 depending on experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver EYFS activities and ensure nurturing, inclusive learning environments.
• Collaborate with teachers and the Early Years team to provide consistent support.
• Contribute to planning, assessment and CPD opportunities.

A fantastic mainstream Primary School in the Borough of Islington is looking for an experienced Early Years Practitioner (EYFS) to join their Early Years team on a full-time, long-term basis. The successful candidate will work across Nursery and Reception, supporting children aged 2-4 and helping them develop through a nurturing, engaging and inclusive learning environment.

What will you be doing as an Early Years Practitioner?

• Working across Nursery and Reception, supporting children aged 2-4.
• Supporting children with phonics, early reading, writing and communication activities.
• Providing support to children with mild Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Following and delivering the EYFS curriculum to a high standard.
• Supporting children's social, emotional and educational development.
• Working closely with teachers and the wider Early Years team to provide consistent support.

The school are looking for an Early Years Practitioner with:

• Level 3 qualification or higher, such as CACHE, Early Years or Health and Social Care.
• A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and framework.
• Previous experience working within an EYFS setting is essential.
• A bubbly, energetic and nurturing personality.
