Overview
Tradewind Recruitment – Immediate / Ongoing Level 3 Early Years Educator (EYFS) for Nursery & Reception in Enfield, Outer London. Full-time or part-time. Salary £22,000 – £26,000 (pro rata). Start date: Immediate / Ongoing.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver stimulating, play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS statutory framework, supporting children’s development across all seven areas of learning.
- Take a lead role within the room, working with other practitioners and the class teacher to create a safe, nurturing, language-rich environment where every child can thrive.
- Carry out observations and assessments using Development Matters, contribute to children’s learning journeys, liaise with parents and carers, and support the identification and inclusion of children with SEND and EAL under the guidance of the SENCO.
Qualifications & Experience
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 3, BTEC National, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) – essential.
- Solid hands-on experience in an EYFS setting (Nursery or Reception preferred).
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework and Development Matters.
- Confident in planning and delivering play-based, child-led learning across seven areas.
- Skilled in early years observation and assessment, including learning journeys and progress tracking.
- Experience supporting children with SEND and EAL in an early years context.
- Warm, patient and professional with excellent communication skills with children, families and colleagues.
- Up-to-date safeguarding and child protection knowledge.
