Qualifications

• Must hold QTS for teaching in the UK.
• BA/MA in English Literature, Language, or related field.
• Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school.
• An enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply).

Responsibilities

• Deliver English across Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Plan lessons aligned with National Curriculum and GCSE specs.
• Use data to monitor attainment and support student growth.
• Maintain an inclusive, focused learning environment with strong behaviour management.
• Act as Form Tutor and support student wellbeing.
