Job summary

Cognita is recruiting an Early Years Room Leader for the Bromley area. You will work with the Head of Early Years and the Kindergarten team to deliver outstanding early years education through careful planning, assessment and day-to-day leadership in the classroom.

You will support children's learning, build strong relationships with families and ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive. This is a permanent, full-time role with a September 2026 start date.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding responsibilities.
• Experience working with young children and meeting their individual needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A calm, flexible approach and the ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
