Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a Room Leader for a welcoming nursery in Bath. You will lead a team, plan play-based EYFS activities, monitor development, and foster strong parent relationships. This role involves safeguarding duties and creating an inclusive learning environment.

The ideal candidate holds Level 3 Early Years or higher, has nursery or early years leadership experience, and demonstrates excellent communication and a nurturing approach to help children thrive.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
• Previous nursery or early years setting experience.
• Leadership experience or confidence to lead.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, organised and nurturing approach.
• Genuine passion for supporting young children's growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a dedicated team within your nursery room.
• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences in line with EYFS.
• Monitor children’s development and support individual learning journeys.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers through regular communication.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, welfare and wellbeing.
• Create an organised, stimulating and inclusive environment for children to flourish.
