Job summary

Heron Foods is seeking a Duty Manager in the UK to lead the store floor, mentor the team, and uphold excellent customer service. You’ll ensure the store is clean, well-stocked and efficiently run while driving sales and profitability.

You may act as keyholder during early or late shifts and cover openings and closes as needed. With 27 hours per week and a pay rate of £13 per hour, this role offers hands-on leadership in a fast-paced retail environment and opportunities for personal growth

Qualifications

• Proven success as a Retail Supervisor, Duty Manager, Assistant Manager, Team Manager, or Shift Manager in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Strong leadership and a focus on delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional results.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve queries effectively.
• Keep the store clean, well-presented and fully stocked.
• Drive sales and profitability by managing performance and efficiency.
• Act as keyholder and manage store openings and closes in the absence of the Store Manager.
