Job summary

Cabot Financial (Europe) Limited in the Kings Hill office is seeking a Desktop Engineer to join IT Operations, delivering hands-on 2nd-line support for laptops, mobiles, and peripherals while upholding ITIL processes and security.

You’ll deploy and maintain device builds with Intune/Endpoint Manager, support remote colleagues, and help improve end-user experience through knowledge articles and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering 2nd-line desktop/EUC support in multi-site or hybrid environments.
• Strong troubleshooting across laptops, desktops, mobiles and collaboration tools.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP).
• Hands-on with Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Intune/Endpoint Manager, AD/AAD.
• Familiar with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and ITIL processes.
• Experience supporting VIP users and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd-line support across sites, resolving incidents and requests within SLAs.
• Deliver hands-on support for laptops, mobiles, peripherals and collaboration tools.
• Support remote colleagues using device-management and remote-assist tools.
• Deploy and maintain standard device builds using Intune/Endpoint Manager.
• Assist with patching, software updates, and security/compliance requirements.
• Maintain asset records and support full device lifecycle.
• Create knowledge articles and improve fix paths with the Service Desk.
• Work within ITIL processes and support audits and vulnerability remediation.
