Job summary

Buttershaw Business and Enterprise College is seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our thriving school during an exciting development phase. You will help deliver high-quality learning in the absence of a teacher and support students to stay on track across Key Stages 3–4.

The role requires working with 11–16-year-olds, GCSEs in Maths/English at grade 4 or above (or equivalent) and a degree. You will work as part of a team to motivate learners and promote inclusive practice.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children aged 11-16.
• GCSE Maths and English at level 4 or above (or equivalent) and a degree.
• Experience of working effectively with small groups or covering whole classes.
• Ability to work as part of a wider team.
• Commitment to equal opportunities and motivating students.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent high-quality education during short-term teacher absences.
• Support pupils to maintain progress and behaviour in lessons.
