You will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring engaging tasks and a safe, orderly environment throughout the day. The role suits experienced supervisors, sports coaches, graduates, or youth leaders seeking classroom leadership without full lesson planning or marking responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisation and confidence managing groups of pupils.
• Strong classroom presence for KS3/KS4.
• Adaptable, punctual and highly organised with proactive routines.
• Enhanced DBS check on Update Service or willing to process one.
• Mandatory UK Right to Work (no visa sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Lead whole classes with pre-set work, explain tasks clearly and maintain high engagement.
• Uphold behaviour policies and foster an inclusive learning environment.
• Support general school supervision during lunchtimes and transitions.
• Assist pupils with varying needs, providing individual support as needed.
• Provide clear written feedback to returning teachers about tasks and attendance.
